1. I’m very glad to have this opportunity to meet you. Please tell me something about yourself/selves, and about what you’re trying to accomplish financially.

2. What are the most important things you want — and expect — from a financial advisor? How important is it to you that you have a financial advisor who approaches finances from a faith perspective?

3. What do you most hope will happen to you financially over the balance of your life, and what do you most fear?

4. Imagine that you’ve just stepped into retirement. Everything that you’ve worked and saved for begins tomorrow morning. What are you going to be doing? What does the first year of retirement look like for you?

5. Is there something you wish I had asked you that so far I haven’t? What really important aspect of your situation might I have missed?
